Camy De Mario, a native of Milan, Italy, developed a passion for drawing and creating cartoon characters from a young age. This artistic inclination comes as no surprise, considering that one of her ancestors, Carlo Chiostri, served as the Illustrator of the original "Pinocchio" book, authored by the renowned Italian writer Carlo Collodi.
Despite being entirely self-taught, Camy has made a remarkable mark in the art world. Not only is she an author, but also an experienced illustrator, and producer of short animated films which have received international accolades.
In addition to her artistic endeavors, Camy actively contributes to the artistic community. She holds a faculty position at the Vero Beach Museum of Art, where she shares her knowledge and skills with various individuals. Her teaching extends to seniors, Alzheimer's patients, adults and children.
She loves bright colors, creating happy pieces with a cartoonish look. Also, a passionate of contemporary and abstract art, her favorite techniques are pointillism and doodling.
Always seeking new experiences and adventures, Camy currently resides in Vero Beach, Florida, with her husband Bobby and their adorable Lhasa Apso named Malibu.
She is the proud mom of four remarkable and beautiful children, and “nonna” of three amazing grandchildren.
